Teriyaki Chicken Tray Bake
Here’s my spin on Teriyaki Chicken. You don’t have to add the halved clementines to the pan but roasted with the chicken they go gorgeously sweet and take the recipe up a notch when the juices are squeezed over at the end!
Prep: 2 minutes
Cooking: 45 minutes
Total: 47 minutes
For the Teriyaki Marinade:-
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
3 garlic cloves crushed
2 tsp grated ginger
Juice of 2 clementines or 1 orange
8-12 chicken thighs, bone in, skin on
3 clementines halved
Optional – Spring onions sliced and 1 tbsp sesame seeds to finish
Simply combine all the ingredients for the teriyaki marinade in a jug of bowl.
Put the chicken and halved clementines in an ovenproof dish and pour over the marinade. Roast (200, 180 fan) uncovered for 45 minutes, ideally turning the chicken at least once during the cooking time.
Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and spring onions before serving.
