I am Anna Stanford. I am a home cook – a “foodie” – and am Mum to Mia, Thomas and Finn. I am not a chef, my background is marketing, but I am hugely passionate about the food I prepare, serve and eat. Anna’s Family Kitchen was launched in July 2018.
I strive to create healthy meals which all the whole family will enjoy but that don’t require hours of prep in the kitchen or masses of washing up. I like to cook using fresh, additive free ingredients wherever possible but I don’t advocate faddy quick fix diets or omitting food groups. As a mum to 11 year old Fussy Finn, 13 year old Thomas (who eats like a grown man) and 16 year old Mia who is vegetarian, I am used to rising to the challenges of delivering balanced meals that appeal to my children, their friends, my husband and our friends. Through Anna’s Family Kitchen I share my recipes and food tips and hope that it makes food planning and preparation an altogether easier task.
In my recipes I love to experiment with the best quality ingredients and different cuisines. I am inspired by countries I have visited and their cuisines, restaurants I have visited and of course other chefs and food bloggers. I always on the lookout for new products and trends but plan to stay true to my values – achievable, healthy, balanced & everything in moderation…..
