Anna's Family Kitchen was inspired by my love of food and desire to feed my family healthy, home cooked wholesome meals that are beautifully presented and appealing but don’t require hours of prep in the kitchen.

Crab Spaghetti

Spaghetti with Crab. This is my go to pasta dish if I want something a little special (I no longer put bolognese in the “special” category having made it thousands of times!) but want to put in minimal effort. 10 minutes (the time it takes to cook the pasta) and just 5 ingredients mixed together. Once the pasta is cooked, lob in the crab mixture and you’re done.

INGREDIENTS


360-400g spaghetti
300g 50/50 crabmeat – so half brown meat, half white (I got mine vacuum packed from my fishmonger. You could also use dressed crabs)
1 red chilli chopped
Juice of 2 lemons, zest of 1
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Fresh coriander or parsley

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water.

Mix together all the remaining ingredients and season generously (1/2 tsp salt and 8 good grinds of pepper!) Drain the pasta and combine with the crab mixture.
