Anna’s Family Kitchen was inspired by my love of food and desire to feed my family healthy, home cooked wholesome meals that are beautifully presented and appealing but don’t require hours of prep in the kitchen.

Smoked Mackerel and Horseradish Blinis
These 5 minute canapés couldn’t be easier and are a lovely alternative to the traditional smoked salmon & creamed cheese version.

Total: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

16 shop bought blinis

Juice of a lemon

200g smoked mackerel fillets

2 tsp hot horseradish

1 tbsp Greek Yogurt (we used Tims Dairy Yogurt)

Chopped chives

Lemon wedges to serve

Warm the blinis in the oven for 1 minute

Flake the fish off the skin picking out an bones.

Mix the fish with the horseradish, yogurt, lemon juice, chopped herbs and some seasoning and spoon onto the blinis.

Serve with lemon wedges.
